Wonderful Sushi Hillcrest: Fresh Sushi & Vibrant Atmosphere in San Diego

Loved every single roll we ordered. My favorite was the high crab roll was a huge hit with my group and the yellowtail carpaccio was refreshing. The service was top notch and the rolls came out so quickly. Will definitely come back here again.

The menu was served beautifully. Calamari in a not-overly fried clothes and fresh sashimi, which was thick and had a better texture, went well with sake. Waitresses are also kind and have a good atmosphere, so it's a restaurant I want to visit again.

This is one of the best sushi place I have ever had so far! I always come here for the black dragon roll and they never disappoint me with the quality. Service is also very good and attentive.

Sushi was good. I had tiger roll which was delicious. Also salmon roll (6pcs) but the sushi rice was dried. Otherwise great service. No wait time. Great place to hang out especially given late opening hours. Reasonably priced sushi.

I went here with my partner and we enjoyed it. She ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll and we thought it was excellent. The fish melted in our mouths. It was a good experience. Also, I ordered the Tiger Roll and the eel tasted really good. It also melted in our mouths. We thought it was excellent as well. This place is really good if you’re looking for a great sushi place with a reasonable price.

This is my go-to sushi spot! I always love getting their lemon salmon roll with a side of miso soup and spicy garlic edamame. I'm never disappointed by the quality of food and service. Spicy sushi is the best!

Just had an amazing lunch here ! Michelle and Jose were the loveliest staff and made me feel so welcome. The food was great, so fresh and not too pricey. I had such a great experience I was recommend to anyone looking for a quick and easy sushi meal in Hillcrest!
